Before visiting us, please read our COVID-19 Safety Plan.

“Routine” or not, surgery often sounds scary! Rest assured, safety is our top priority from check-in to check out.

Modern anesthesia is generally very safe, and to further lower any risk, we perform a physical examination and run blood work ahead of time to catch any underlying health issues. In addition, we design a unique anesthetic protocol specific for your pet, to ensure even greater safety.

During your pet’s procedure, our highly trained staff monitor vital signs using state-of-the-art equipment. Our rigorous pain management protocols ensure your pet has a speedy and comfortable recovery.

What dog loves going to the vet? Ours!  They are so excited to see Dr. Buxton that they will let her do any procedure without fuss: Her care and affection for them is obvious.

Dr. Buxton never tells us what we must do for our dogs but provides information, conveys what she would do and why, and then respects our decision.  This consultative approach extends to their diet and given we have a picky eater with allergies, it has been extremely helpful.  Not only do the pups love her, but so do we. “
